Developing the next generation of ministry leaders through mentorship and experiences

We believe the best way to develop the next generation of ministry leaders is to surround them with the best and brightest leaders of today in mentoring relationships and shared experiences. Through experiences, mentees can learn so much in a short amount of time through both focused conversations and informal time spent with mentors face to face.

Experiences provide a unique oppertunity to connect the high-capacity leaders of today with the emerging ministry leaders of tomorrow. In a shared experience, mentees and mentors are face to face for 2-5 days in a row while engaging in:

• Intentional focused discussions on leadership, spiritual growth, and personal growth
• Structured times of prayer, reflection, communion, and sharing
• Unstructed times together because charactor is more caught than taught and conversation centers around the felt needs of the mentee
• Fun, adventure, and creating memories together

These retreat sytle experiences force leaders to break from their busy lives and always lead to spritiual renewal, breakthrough, and shared development. All of our experiences are planned so that leaders will spend an abundance of time together so that this growth will come through these structured and unstructed times together.

Some examples of these experiences include:

• 3 nigts in a shared 4 bedroom beachouse in Michigan with kayaking, beach games, ice cream, and beachside bonfire conversations
• 4 nights in a shared 4 bedroom home in the Canadian Rockies with hiking, prayer by pristine lakes, and firepit conversations
• 3 nights in a shared 4 bedroom house on a golf resort in Florida with golf, a pool, and late night conversations
• 3 nights on a cruise ship together where all logistics (meals, lodging, etc.) are taken care so that leaders can spend all day, each meal, and each evening together
• 3 nights near at 14,000 foot mountain in Colorado with hiking and nightly firepit conversations about the mountop experiences of Moses, Elijah, and Jesus
• 2 nights in a Chicago suburb with two mornings of golf and two evenings with steak and deep dish alongside afternoon and evening conversations
